Does anyone know of another web based Star Wars Destiny player? I can't get Tabletop simulator as I am on a chromebook.
Thanks for your time.
The special ability on Force Training states: "Choose and do two of the following: deal 1 damage to a character, or gain 1 resource, or give a character 1 shield."
Can you do one of the listed effects twice? For example, deal 2 damage (1 damage twice) to a character.
Or do you have to select two different effects?
Hey there
Due to the format of the game there are going to be cards which some of us have which others may never acquire. As such, adding new cards to the Wikia will be the responsibility of users acquiring those cards who are of a community mindset. When adding new cards, please emulate the format of the already established pages. The easiest way to do this is to go into 'edit' mode for the example card below, copy everything (Ctrl+A, then Ctrl+C), then go to the page you want to create, go into edit mode on that page, and then paste everything (Ctrl+V). Then change the information to match the card you're creating.
Adding a Character
Example: Luke Skywalker
Format: Any flavor text on top and italicized. The actual card text/ability written out as it appears on the card, with any links added to relevant categories, cards or game effects. The 'die faces' panel, numbered 1 to 6, filled out as it is on the card, which each die face linked to the necessary page. Then Card Types and Rarity, which should read, from left to right, what type of card it is (character), its faction (hero), its alignment (blue) and its rarity (legendary). When adding the image set its pixel size to as close to 310 as possible, and make sure it is right justified. See 'image quality standards' at the bottom for info on your own uploads.
Adding an Event
Example: Endless Ranks
Format: Any flavor text on top and italicized. The actual card text/ability written out as it appears on the card, with any links added to relevant categories, cards or game effects. Then Cost, where the resource cost to play the card is displayed. Then Card Types and Rarity, which should read, from left to right, what type of card it is (event), its faction (villain), its alignment (red) and its rarity (uncommon). When adding the image set its pixel size to as close to 300 as possible, and make sure it is right justified. See 'image quality standards' at the bottom for info on your own uploads.
Adding a non-Character card with a die (Ability/Equipment/Weapon etc...)
Example: Comlink
Format: Any flavor text on top and italicized. The actual card text/ability written out as it appears on the card, with any links added to relevant categories, cards or game effects. The 'die faces' panel, numbered 1 to 6, filled out as it is on the card, which each die face linked to the necessary page. Cost, where the resource cost to play the card is displayed. Then Card Types and Rarity, which should read, from left to right, what type of card it is (equipment), its faction (neutral), its alignment (gray) and its rarity (rare). When adding the image set its pixel size to as close to 300 as possible, and make sure it is right justified. See 'image quality standards' at the bottom for info on your own uploads.
Image Standards
So far we've only used 'official' images, which are the best. Going forward we'll need to compromise. If you're going to upload an image, aim for the highest quality possible.
Average: A photograph of the card, perhaps with glare and some visible background. Dice may or may not be present.
Good: A scan of the card. Relevant dice may or may not be present.
Great: A scan of the card. If the card has an attached die, a separate photograph of the dice against a plain background has been taken, cropped, and photoshopped into the image, either in imitation of an FFG product, or separately in the image.
Best: An FFG production photo.
If you see an image and you think you can improve its quality, feel free to replace it. Do not replace someone else's 'Average' quality image with your own 'Average' quality image - always aim to improve.
Thanks for reading!
